About Mamra Almonds (Kashmiri Badam)
Mamra Almonds (also called Kashmiri Badam) are considered the finest variety of almonds in the world. Unlike California almonds, Mamra almonds are cultivated in the high altitudes of Kashmir and Afghanistan. They are smaller, wrinkled, and oil-rich — containing up to 50% more oil than California almonds.
